ParentPool Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of ParentPool. By accepting them, you confirm that you understand who is responsible for organizing, offering, choosing, and carrying out rides in your private organization.
1. ParentPool is a coordination tool
ParentPool provides software for private groups to publish and coordinate rides. ParentPool does not provide transportation, employ or select drivers, inspect vehicles, insure rides, supervise children, or guarantee that any ride, driver, route, or participant is safe or reliable.
2. Organizations are self-organized and self-moderated
Each organization is a private group managed by its own owner and administrators. The organization and its administrators control membership, invitations, group rules, ride coordination, moderation, and incident handling. ParentPool is not the organizer of the group or the provider of its rides.
3. Owner and administrator responsibilities
Owners and administrators must invite only appropriate people, confirm that invitations are intended for the right organization, keep access current, remove or deactivate unsuitable members, moderate the group, monitor whether rides are handled correctly, and respond to safety or conduct concerns. They must comply with applicable law and any rules they establish for the organization.
4. Parent and driver responsibilities
Each parent chooses independently whether a ride is suitable for their child. Before booking or relying on a ride, parents should check the driver's identity and reliability, vehicle condition, licensing, insurance, seats, route, pickup arrangements, and any other safety matter. Drivers are responsible for lawful, safe, properly insured transportation and for the children entrusted to them during the ride.
5. Safety and emergencies
Use emergency services and local authorities first when there is an immediate danger. ParentPool does not monitor rides in real time and does not promise to detect, prevent, or resolve unsafe conduct. Report concerns to the organization owner or administrator and to ParentPool when appropriate.
6. Risk and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ParentPool and its author are not responsible for the acts or omissions of users or organizations, injuries, death, property damage, loss, delay, missed pickup, inaccurate information, unavailable service, or any ride arrangement. Users and organizations accept responsibility for their own conduct and arrangements and agree to protect ParentPool from claims arising from their use or breach of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
7. Acceptable use and enforcement
Use accurate information, respect other families, follow applicable law, and do not use ParentPool for unlawful, dangerous, discriminatory, abusive, or misleading activity. ParentPool may restrict or suspend access when necessary for safety, legal compliance, service protection, or a request from the organization administrators.
8. Suspension and termination
ParentPool may suspend or end access where necessary for safety, legal compliance, service protection, non-payment, or a material breach of these Terms. Organization owners and administrators may remove members or close an organization under their own rules. You may stop using the service at any time. Ending access does not remove responsibilities or claims that arose before termination.
9. Governing law
The operator will complete the applicable governing-law and court details before this draft is used in production. Those details must not reduce mandatory consumer protections or other rights that cannot legally be waived.
10. Contact and reports
For questions, complaints, safety reports, or legal notices, contact the organization owner or administrator and use the operator contact details published with the service. In an emergency, contact emergency services and local authorities first.
11. Changes and legal terms
These Terms may be updated by version. A material change may require you to accept the new version before continuing. Any privacy notice, data-processing arrangement, or other mandatory legal right is separate from this acceptance and remains applicable where required.
